The fan recreations eventually became enough of a problem that series creator Vince Gilligan publicly asked viewers to stop throwing pizzas onto the real homeowners’ roof. On the Better Call Saul Insider Podcast in 2015, Gilligan told fans there was “nothing original or funny or cool” about bothering the people who lived there, illustrating just how far the scene had traveled beyond Breaking Bad.
