Jonah Hill Cut it Out Reaction at the Oscars

Jonah Hill gestures for someone to “cut it out” while attending the 2012 Academy Awards, as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie laugh in the row in front of him..

This Jonah Hill GIF is perfect for reactions to playful embarrassment, receiving too much praise, wanting someone to stop, or jokingly pretending to be flattered.

The reaction comes from the 2012 Academy Awards, where Jonah Hill was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for Moneyball alongside Brad Pitt’s Best Actor nomination. With Pitt and Angelina Jolie seated directly in front of him, Hill’s playful “cut it out” gesture and their laughter capture a candid moment between some of the night’s biggest stars.

This “cut it out” GIF works particularly well as a lighthearted response to compliments or praise. It can communicate “stop, you’re embarrassing me” without seriously asking someone to stop, making Jonah Hill’s reaction useful for friendly conversations, group chats, and joking exchanges.

Celebrity reaction GIFs like this remain useful because unscripted award show moments capture genuine expressions that easily translate into everyday online conversations.
